Hi Everyone,
Boy the last few weeks have been just crazy. They finally got my husband off the ventilator and gazillions of tubes and he's home but just requires a lot of attention and help. It's going to be quite the rehabilitation. So, I will not be online that much cause he comes first. But, I'm hoping to fit in a mani a week. I just don't have the time to plan or do anything really elaborate.
So, here is a very simple mani. I used Sinful Colors All About You. I used a more cinammon type nail art liner around the moon of the nail. And I used a tad bit of China Glaze Golden Enchantment on the naked nail. It looks really pretty in person. Not sure I really captured it on camera. Although, it looks more like the thumbnail all the way around. But, here it is!

Foil Abstract Manicure
Hi all! Hope you had a great holiday. I know I am not going to be happy to go back to work tomorrow. The 1st week is our busiest of the month so lots of work to go to. But, I digress.
I decided to try using foil. I wanted to do an abstract that was sparkly for the summer. Here is what I came up with. Let me know what you think! And don't forget about the bundle monster giveaway if you haven't signed up (see sidebar).

My first attempts at nail art
As promised, here are some of my original attempts in January. Some are a little sloppy. So, forgive me. But, I had to start somewhere. At least you can see from my more recent attempts that I learn fast lol.
This is my 1st Konad.
This is using black matte over regular black polish. Eh....keeping the matte part up was horrible. Every time I washed my hands, the matte just looked really bad. I had to refresh it a few times.
These stickers just were really difficult to deal with. I didn't like how you could still see some of the adhesive material. Just not a great experience. I added some gold flecks to a few nails. But, probably won't use those stickers again.
I tried using the shells from my Cina collection. It was cute actually. I liked it.
This was eh. I don't really like the China Glaze base color. I think I would have preferred a more clear blushy color.
Excuse the sloppiness. This one was a bit gloppy. But, it's alright. Just sloppy.

Konadicure and Essie
First, I tried Claire's Mean Green with the Konad White special polish ( plate M35). I was really disappointed that it chipped on a few different fingers by the next day. I hadn't had that happen with my China Glaze, OPI, or Essie polishes. But, here's the finished product.

It was really cute too bad it didn't last. I also staggered the placement of the konad stamp.
Here is what I have on my nails right now:

I used Essie Shift Power and Gold and Black Nail Art polishes.
Here's another pink manicure I did with China Glaze Good witch and Cina accesories:
