The Simpsons as the Addams Family

Halloween is approaching and for the next several weeks, I'm starting some fun Halloween manicures. I will try to give many different design ideas. They won't be all cartoons since I know not everyone can draw to that extent.

Please don't forget to sign up for the contest. And don't forget there is an extra entry post below if you are interesting in more chances to win China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection.

Now, I did do a tutorial of sorts. It was very difficult to cram 3 to 4 hours of work into 8 minutes.  So, I did the best I could giving a general layout of my process since many people have asked me to show how I do it.  I do have a natural ability to draw and that was also enhanced with some drawing courses.  I basically look at a picture and draw it on my nails.  Let me know what you think!

This is the picture I was copying.

Simple Black/White Mani

Yesterday, I had to go out unexpectedly and I was wearing black and white.  I decided to whip up a really quick and simple design for my nails.  I used a white Sally Hanson nail art pen to do the dots.  Let me know what you think.

Vintage Mani!

i,  In reviewing some of the comments on the original form, Annelise suggested I do a vintage mani for the vintage line.  So, I decided to try and do just a few examples of vintage nails. I like some more than others.  I didn't buy the whole line yet for myself yet, so had to work with the colors I had.

1st nail - Base is Classic Camel.  Sponged on Foxy.  Used Branding Iron to outline.

2nd nail - I used a vintage Tiffany Lamp as inspiration. I think the lines looked better thinner. Classic Camel base, Black Polish Pen, Hey Doll.

3rd Nail - Same as 1st nail except I also did an inner sponged layer of  Hey Doll and used Foxy to draw lines (added bling).

4th Nail - Painted diagonal line of Foxy.  Sponged on Classic Camel.  Added bling and glitter.

Let me know what you think.

Blue Abstract Mani

Hi all!  I was about to take off my nail polish last night and decided to do some experimenting.  I came up with this abstract.

Here is my you tube tutorial on it.  Let me know what you think!  And if you haven't entered my contest yet, see the posting prior to this for details!
