My First Giveaway!

All,

As a thank you to everyone taking time to view my blog, I wanted to hold a giveaway.  I thought it would be fun to give away some jewelry. Since I make jewelry, I thought I'd create something for the occasion that would be nice to wear when you're out and about this summer. It is freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals (sterling silver chain). I picked polish colors that would go with it.

    Congrats on your first Giveaway - and a fine one it is indeed! Your Necklace / Earrings Set is gorgeous.

    I have to confess I am somewhat "Mani-Shy" - I always seem to make a real mess of it (especially doing my right hand!) and even if I do a passable job - it always chips or peels within 24 hours! So I feel pretty hopeless.

    I am however, quite good at doing my toenails - and for some reason the good results last a long time. Go figure!

    But I can see you havd truly mastered the fine art of nail painting - and in such a short time. I'm dazzled!

    Salleefur, I have to admit that I don't do my right hand with the cartoon ones. It does take lots of practice!! My only tips I can give you is to make sure that your nails are really clean before applying a base coat and use a good top coat. I use seche vite. I too find my toenails seems to last forever. If I'm really careful with my nails and don't put them in water too much I usually can last for 5 days. Sometimes, I apply the top coat again after a few days.

    I still have ALOT to learn! But, I'm an eager student. I have always loved to draw.
