Konadicure and Essie

First, I tried Claire's Mean Green with the Konad White special polish ( plate M35).  I was really disappointed that it chipped on a few different fingers by the next day. I hadn't had that happen with my China Glaze, OPI, or Essie polishes.  But, here's the finished product.

It was really cute too bad it didn't last. I also staggered the placement of the konad stamp.
Here is what I have on my nails right now:

I used Essie Shift Power and Gold and Black Nail Art polishes.

Here's another pink manicure I did with China Glaze Good witch and Cina accesories:

Valentines Day is Here Again!

I submitted to pressure and took off my nearly newly painted nails and tried a Valentines Day theme.  I tried several things and they just didn't work. I wasn't feeling it at all. So, I just decided it was late and I was really tired so I'd do something similar to the design I had just removed.  So, here it is girls.  Let me know what you think!

I used China Glaze Ruby Pumps, a line of pink, a line of clear glitter, a heart, and a clear top coat.

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my page!

I just started growing my nails at the end of December.  I usually don't have long nails because I make jewelry and play instruments, so they usually have to be short.  But, for some reason this year, I just felt like being really girlie.  So, I bought a bunch of polish and nail art tools and have started to learn to paint my nails and take care of them.  I used Nail Tek II Intensive Therapy and Nail Tek Foundation II for my base and then go from there.

I will post a few of my previous attempts at nail art over the weekend.  Here is my current polish.  I used Orly Matte Blue Suede on my tips diagonally.  I then painted over top of that with China Glaze Luna (leaving a small line of the Matte visible).  Then I used a silver nail art polish/brush to paint a silver line (leaving a small space as to not draw on the matte).  I used Seche Vite on the bottom part of the nail (making sure not to paint over the matte).  You probably could do that before you put on the matte.  I was winging it so ended up doing it last.

Let me know what you think!
