Hi,
It's like a ghost town on this blog (cue crickets). Oh well. Here is my newest manicure. I did it last week and got a lot of compliments. I just used Black Polish for the french, Zoya Snowsicle for the rest of the nail and black and white acrylic paint. Let me know if you like it. The youtube video is HERE.

Purple Water Color Pencil & One Stroke Flowers
Hello,
I was feeling experimental this week. It's still a challenge with my wonky eye, but I'm trying to make the best of it. So, if my detail is off, I have a good excuse! If you want to view the tutorial, click HERE.
I used water color pencils (violet, white, & green) for the french manicure part and the flower stem. I used a silver polish liner and acrylic (white & purple) paint for the flower. Have you ever used water colors? Let me know what you think. I had a horrible time trying to do my right hand. I finally realized that the brush I used to do my left hand wasn't sturdy enough for the right hand. I need that rigidness to provide some control. However, I believe in full disclosure, so I posted a picture. I'm sure you all feel my pain in trying to paint your right hand nails. It really is a matter of practice, practice, practice!! I was seriously tempted to make my husband come into the room and learn one stroke so he could do it. Unfortunately, he was not interested in being my secret weapon....sigh.

Holographic Flowers
Hello,
I wanted to do something with my Halo polishes. These are China Glaze ones. I just love how they look in the sunlight.
I used OPI Ink for the background (deep purple). And I used China Glaze IDK, DV8, QT, L8R G8R, and BFF for the flowers and dotting.
As always, let me know what you think. Click HERE for the youtube tutorial.

One stroke flowers
Hi,
Here is my first attempt at one-stroke flowers. I did one practice nail before I attempted it on my nails. It's okay. I have my eye condition back and had to get an injection this week, so my vision isn't the greatest. The right hand was also hard cause I didn't practice at all with that hand. I also did a tutorial on my YouTube channel (click on word youtube to view).

More Magnetix Nail Designs
Hi,
Here are some more magnetic nail art design ideas. I did 2 in each of the colors I have. My hubby is so cute. He wants to go back tomorrow and buy me more :). I wanted to try to use them in different ways instead of painting the whole nail. Here is the you tube tutorial.
For this one, I used China Glaze Pull Me Close Magnetix polish.
1st one I used China Glaze - Laced Up for the pink. I used pink pressed flowers (I know it looks red but it's not. The 2nd one I used a bright blue liner and some crystals.
This one is CG Drawn to You. I used two different magnet shapes and added some crystals.
The 2nd one I used silver to line the french and added some dots and a crystal.
This one I use CG Cling on. I actually used the first one in a previous post but added some dotting to the top and crystals. The 2nd one I outlined the green with a gold sparkly liner and added crystals. The base is CND Gold Chrome.
And that is it. Let me know what you think.

Magnetic Mani
Hi,
I went to my fav beauty supply shop for the first time in a very long time yesterday. I ended up getting gelish soak off polish gel and a UV lamp because my nails just constantly break (as you can see with my little pointer nubbin). I've tried and tried to keep it totally real, but this was the only way to keep my natural nail and hopefully create a strengthened barrier so that I can grow them long and keep them long. We shall see.
I brought some magnetic polish (china glaze) and created a design. Hopefully, you like it. I'm also posting the concept nail that I did previous to trying it on my nails. Here is the you tube tutorial.

Scroll Valentines Day
Hi,
For this nail design, I used China Glaze snow and then a thin coat of Essie Bungle Jungle over it. I think used black nail polish to paint on the scroll (using a brush) and used a dotting tool for the dots.

Red/Silver Valentine Nails
Hi all,
Here's two more ideas. The first, I used the little silver balls to form hearts. It was kind of hard. I used China Glaze Cheers to You for the silver and Essie Bungle Jungle for the Red. I also used CND Copper Shimmer on the Red under the silver stripe. It was really hard with the silver balls. I probably could have done that a little better. You'll have to experiment with it.
